USA Network will create public-service announcements for CityCares in order
to give that nonprofit organization a national platform for its Sept. 11 message
of citizen volunteerism and involvement.
In jointly announcing the plan, USA and CityCares said the spots will run
nationally on USA, as well as locally in 30 participating markets that plan
special initiatives tied to Sept. 11.
The 30-market effort will include customized PSAs, as well as online and
print ad support for New York Cares and Hands On Atlanta, for example. Those are
just two of the organizations that operate under the CityCares
