V-me Partners With Pramer for Daily Cooking Block

Spanish-language network V-me has partnered with Argentina-based Pramer SCA to air a series of cooking shows from Latin America, which are part of Pramer’s elgourmet.com property.

V-me’s new daily block, La Hora elgourmet.com, features tips and techniques from top Latin chefs, including Venezuela’s Sumito Estévez and Mexico’s Paulina Abascal and Enrique Fleischmann.

La Hora elgourmet.com, which premiered Nov. 1, is elgourmet.com’s first entry into the U.S. market, and it replaces the Spanish-language programming that V-me was running from the Food Network.

As the exclusive U.S. source for La Hora elgourmet.com, V-me will air the block every weekday from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. ET and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. ET. In addition to the daily TV block, V-me’s Web site will feature recipes, additional tips and bonus content.

Pramer SCA, the holding company of elgourmet.com, produces pay-TV content and distributes satellite networks, reaching over 12 million homes in Argentina, Latin America and Spain. Pramer also distributes CosmopolitanTV, film channel Europa Europa, and TV Chile among other networks.
