MSNBC has signed former Minnesota Gov. and World Wrestling Federation
personality Jessie Ventura to host a new one-hour primetime issues-oriented talk
The daily show will include high-profile guests, as well as questions and
participation from a live studio audience.
"MSNBC is about programming that is smart, lively, insightful and dominated
by passionate but always diverse points of view," MSNBC president Erik Sorenson
said in a prepared statement.
"This show is an ideal fit within the context of MSNBC's overall programming
strategy," he added. "It is one of several building blocks that will make up the
foundation of the channel's primetime lineup."
