Verizon Communications Inc. said Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to carry GSN and new interactive play-along service GSNi on its FiOS TV service when it launches later this year.
GSN and GSNi join networks on the FiOS TV platform including services from A&E Television Networks, Turner Broadcasting System Inc., Discovery Networks U.S., NBC Universal Cable, Showtime Networks Inc. and Starz Entertainment Group LLC.
“As the leader in interactive television, we, too, embrace new technologies,” GSN senior vice president of distribution Jan Hatcher said in a prepared statement. “We are proud to have both of our services included on Verizon's lineup, and we're looking forward to working with Verizon to bring the excitement of GSNi's interactive play-along to their customers.”
