Versus, Comcast’s national sports network, is scheduled to relocate from its headquarters in Stamford, Conn. next June.
The move to its parent’s headquarters in Philadelphia next year is not expected to cost any of Versus employees their positions. “Everybody has been offered their jobs,” said network spokeswoman Katie Bradshaw. To that end, Versus has more than 100 employees.
Only those working on the production side of the house are expected to remain in Stamford, where Versus and its forebears OLN and Outdoor Life Network have operated.
Bradshaw said it made sense for production crew to remain in Connecticut, where the network made a significant investment in a state-of-the-art, high-definition studio that it opened this season for its coverage of the National Hockey League.
