VH1 To Air K.Michelle Special

VH1 will feature R&B star artist K.Michelle in a new special K.Michelle: Rebellious Soul-The Musical, the network said Wednesday.

The musical event, directed by actor Idris Elba, will feature nine songs from the artist’s recently released Rebellious Soul album. The hip hopera will tell the tale of a woman struggling to break the cycle of bad romance, according to network officials.

VH1 and VH1 Soul will also premiere K.Michelle’s music video for the Love and Hip Hop star’s single Damn on Aug 16, said the network.
