VH1 has pulled the plug on its original late-night talk show, Late World
with Zach, nearly two months after its much-hyped launch.
The daily skein premiered March 4 to a disappointing 0.2 rating, and it was
never able to significantly improve its viewership in later weeks, sources close
to the situation said.
VH1 officials said the network is exploring other programming opportunities
for Late World host Zach Galifianakis.
The move comes two weeks after MTV: Music Television marketing executive
Christina Norman was appointed to lead the struggling VH1.
