Rockers will try their hand at poker in the first VH1 Classic Rock and Roll Celebrity Poker Tournament, airing on the network March 14 at 10 p.m. over a thumping soundtrack.
Producer Lisa Tenner, of Las Vegas-based Tenner & Associates, will bring to the table as players Vinnie Paul of Pantera, Scott Ian of Anthrax, Sully Erna of Godsmack, Ace Frehley of Kiss and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top.
Two players -- Ian Hamilton and Rob Cross -- won their seats alongside the rockers on UltimateBet.tv. Steve Thomas plays for tournament site the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
VH1 Classic’s host is Lynn Hoffman, and poker pros Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Laak will make special appearances.
