VH1 Looks ‘Back’ at 2003, 80s

Are you ready to remember 2003? VH1 is.

The network will tape its VH1 Big in ’03
special at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles Nov. 20, with its on-air debut slated for Nov. 30.

VH1 Big in ’03 will feature performance by Outkast, Shania Twain, Pharrell, Matchbox Twenty and Kid Rock, with appearances by Vivica Fox, Jessica Simpson, Paris and Nikki Hilton, David Spade, Paula Abdul, D.L. Hughley, Joe Rogan and the cast of Fox’s The O.C.
, among others.

In other VH1 news, premieres of the network’s first two installments of I Love the 80s Strikes Back
were watched Monday night by an average of 956,000 viewers aged 2 and up.

The first hour, "1980," was the strongest premiere yet for a first episode in the I Love the
series, averaging a 0.7 in the 18-49 demographic, up 133% versus the prior four weeks and up 250% versus year-ago levels.

VH1 also said new series True Spin
averaged a 0.5 in its 11 p.m. time slot Monday, up 150% over the prior four-week average.
