VH1, Pepsi to Hold ‘Super Bash’

VH1, PepsiCo Inc. and the National Football League are hosting a “Bash.”

The network said Tuesday that The Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash will be taped at the State Theater in Detroit Thursday and will air on the network Saturday at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).

Holly Robinson Peete (UPN's Love Inc.) and Jim Breuer (Saturday Night Live) will host The Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash, which will feature performances by Nickelback, Goo Goo Dolls and Train.

NFL players Braylon Edwards (Cleveland Browns), Tony Gonzalez (Kansas City Chiefs), Willie McGinnest (New England Patriots), Takeo Spikes (Buffalo Bills) and Mike Strahan (New York Giants) will also appear.

In addition to performances from the on-air show, exclusive performances from Nickelback, Goo Goo Dolls and Train will be available on VSPOT (vspot.vh1.com), VH1's broadband network.
