Music network VH1 is will tap into bizarre end of the World Wide Web pool, offering up a collection of the weirdest Internet video clips in a new program offered with partner and MTV Networks subsidiary IFILM.

Premiering at 11:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday, Jan. 13, “Web Junk 20” will feature a collection of video oddities gathered from the Internet. Host Patrice O’Neal will guide viewers through the clips and provide his own commentary on each clip.

Each weekly program will feature the top 20 Internet video clips, ranging from TV bloopers, footage of celebrity mishaps and weird videos created by individuals.

The VH1 and IFILM partnership to create the program stems from MTV Networks’ acquisition of IFILM in October. IFILM will provide research, post each clip on its Website at www.ifilm.com and give viewers the chance to upload their video candidates for future episodes.

Episodes also will be available at VH1’s broadband VSPOT Website.
