With average monthly unique visitors for 2006 up 24% over the previous year, VH1.com is one of the fastest growing music and entertainment Web sites. At the helm: vice president of digital media Tina Imm.

“We’ve accomplished so much in the last few years,” Imm said, “from online programming that successfully extends the channel’s on-air hits, to our original series on VH1.com and VH1 Mobile, to the launch of products like our online syndicated video player and the new VH1Classic.com. Because of development and launches like these, VH1’s digital properties have seen tremendous growth and traction with users.”

Imm wasted no time ramping up her career.

While at Brown University, she co-founded media development company Tagworks with clients such as AOL, BMG and Conde Nast.

Her next entrepreneurial effort was the youth culture portal Platform Network, where as chief operating officer she enticed Sony, Warburg Pincus and Chase Capital into investing toward original content.

In 2001, after overseeing Platform’s successful merger with Hookt Network, Imm went on to become COO at Complex Media, a creative developer targeting youth culture.

Three years later, she linked up with VH1 and is now responsible for the channel’s overall strategy, creative direction, content development and production for digital platforms, including VH1.com, VH1 Mobile, VH1 Podcasts, VH1 Games, and VSPOT, VH1’s broadband channel.
