Video Internet Broadcasting Corp. (VIB TV) said Thursday that it has changed its name to HomeNet Communications Inc. and merged with HomeNet Utah Inc., a subsidiary of Faraday Financial Inc.
The company delivers 100-megabit-per-second fiber optic video, voice and data to homes and businesses through one voice and data connection.
"The merger and name change of VIB to HomeNet Communications better represents the company as not only a video and Internet provider, but as an integrated triple-play provider offering voice, video and data services," president and chief financial officer Mike Devine said in a prepared statement.
