Viewers Don't Quit: ‘iCarly' Special Draws 8.8 Million Viewers


In a special about the characters quitting their Web show, Nickelodeon's iCarly netted its best-ever Nielsen performance.
Nick's iCarly scored record ratings in all of the channel's key demos and in total viewers Saturday, Dec. 5, with its one- hour movie special, "iQuit iCarly" from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
iCarly drew 8.8 million total viewers, including 4.7 million kids 2 to 11, 3.9 million kids 6 11, and 3.7 million tweens 9 to 14, according to Nielsen data.

The program was cable's third most-watched program the week of Nov. 30 through Dec. 6, trailing only ESPN's Monday Night Football and the series finale of USA Network's stalwart dramedy Monk.
