TV Guide Network drew 1.2 million viewers for its June 2 launch of Curb Your Enthusiasm, the network announced Thursday.
The HBO comedy series, created by and starring Larry David, delivered triple-digit year-over-year gains among all key demos during the time period including females 18-34 (+290 percent), females 18-49 (+165 percent) and females 25-54 (+257 percent).
TV Guide's weekly Wednesday and Thursday night presentation of Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes will also feature original Curb: The Discussion shorts immediately following each episode featuring a panel of high profile guest stars, media pundits and prominent social figures discussing the issues from the episode.
"Offering full-length episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm coupled with our exclusive Curb: The Discussion panel gave fans and newcomers a reason to tune into our network" said Diane Robina, Executive Vice President, Programming and Marketing, TV Guide Network in a statement. "Our series premiere ratings indicate that delivering high quality content will drive new and younger viewers, which is critical as we continue TV Guide Network's transformation into an entertainment programming destination."
