Executive vice president and chief financial officer Christopher F. Virgulak will leave General Cable Corp. at the end of the year.
Virgulak said he would continue with the vendor of copper, aluminum and fiber-optic wire and cable products for the energy, industrial, specialty and communications markets to ensure an orderly transition while the company seeks a new CFO.
General Cable also announced that senior VP and controller Brian J. Robinson has added the post of treasurer.
