MTV: Music Television is adding extra content to its “MTV Overdrive” broadband-content Web site, covering the Aug. 18 MTV Video Music Awards.
Starting Aug. 29, broadband subscribers will be able to visit the site (www.mtv.com/overdrive) to select from an on-demand menu of clips, backstage interviews and other content from the awards show.
Footage will include “white” carpet coverage, musical performances and backstage interviews. Viewers will be able to create their own awards show, MTV said, by mixing and matching clips.
The content will be available for 30 days, MTV said.
