Vonage Holdings Corp. raised $200 million in a late-stage round of venture capital, AP reported.
The voice-over-Internet-protocol provider has now raised more than $400 million in funding, according to AP.
Boston-based venture-capital firm Bain Capital Inc. joined earlier investors New Enterprise Associates, 3i Corp., Meritech Capital Partners and Institutional Venture Partners in the round, AP reported.
The company is eyeing expansion of its VoIP services into the Asia-Pacific market after successful launches in Canada and the United Kingdom, AP reported.
According to AP, Vonage’s latest funding round was the largest venture-capital investment this year.
