Voom’s Equator HD Goes to Clipperton

Voom HD Networks’ Equator HD will study The Mysteries of Clipperton.

The network said Monday that it will air the six-part half-hour series, which examines “a tiny French territory off the coast of Mexico that remains a scientific oddity.”

The Mysteries of Clipperton -- co-produced by Equator HD and French production company Gedeon Programmes -- will air on Equator HD in July.

“Equator HD looks to explore and document life in every corner of the world,” vice president of programming William Roberts said in a prepared statement. “Now more than ever, in light of the natural disasters plaguing the planet and wholesale destruction of unique natural habitats, it is urgent to analyze the human impact on pristine ecosystems.”
