Wal-Mart TV to Add TV One Fare

Lifestyle- and entertainment-oriented programming from TV One will be added to Wal-Mart Television Network following an agreement between the African-American-targeted service and Thomson SA’s Premier Retail Networks unit.

PRN is working with TV One to create programming specially tailored for Wal-Mart TV, which appears in more than 2,850 Wal-Mart Stores Inc. locations.

The fare will provide lifestyle tips on a wide range of issues including fashion, beauty, home and personal finance, as well as including entertainment-based content.

Comcast Corp. and Radio One Inc. are among TV One’s investors.
