Waller Adds Senior Adviser

Waller Capital Partners said Monday it has hired former RBC Daniels investment banker Thomas Malone as a senior adviser to the company.
Malone, who has more than 30 years of investment banking experience, will initiate transactions and provide advice related to Mergers & acquisitions and private financings for clients in the media, cable, telecom and technology industries.
Prior to joining Waller, Malone had served as the group head of Daniels & Associates' Private Capital Group, which led the firm's efforts in the private placement of debt and equity securities for customers in the communications industries.
Before joining Daniels in 2001, Malone was a managing director at Chase Securities in the Acquisition Finance Group and spent more than 10 years in Chase's Media and Communications Group, as well as in the Global Syndicated Finance group.
Malone has an undergraduate degree in business from St. John's University and an MBA from The Thunderbird School of Global Management.
"Waller's reputation has been exceptional in the industries I have covered for 30 years, and I am excited about helping them continue their growth," Malone said in a statement.
Garrett Baker, President of Waller Capital, said: "We have had great respect for Tom since his days at Chase, and are thrilled to finally have him as part of our team. His relationships in the industry and significant experience with sources of private capital will be invaluable as we continue to expand the breadth of services we offer our clients."
