Starz Entertainment Group LLC’s WAM! said Tuesday that it has acquired original teen series Rockin’America.
The music-video show, produced by teen-ager Justin Walker, features America’s hottest video hits.
The network will air 78 half-hour episodes and 26 15-minute episodes starting in April.
“Rockin’ America is a great addition to WAM!’s teen-focused programming lineup, especially since the producer is a teen,” WAM! vice president of programming Midge Pierce said in a prepared statement.
“Our original programming is designed to keep our young audience up to date on music and entertainment,” she added. “Rockin’ America certainly does so by featuring today’s hottest videos and music groups.”
