WAPA Adds Subs in San Francisco Bay

WAPA America, the U.S. cable-network arm of Puerto Rico's WAPA-TV, is now available throughout the San Francisco Bay Area via
Comcast's Selecto and Cable Latino packages.

The move, effective mid-December,
follows recent launches in Comcast's Oregon, Southwest
Washington and Denver markets.

Broadcasting some of Puerto Rico's most popular local content, WAPA America transmits nearly 100 hours per
week of news and original programming, including Transformación Total, the wellness reality series scheduled to
premiere Jan. 30.

"We are pleased to add WAPA America to the wide variety of
multicultural channels that we offer in Northern California,
reinforcing Comcast's commitment to deliver programming that reflects the
diverse needs and interests of our communities," Comcast California
vice president of marketing Elaine Barden said in a statement.

All told, WAPA America reaches more than 3 million homes
throughout the U.S.
and is carried on major cable, satellite and telephony providers.

WAPA America is currently available throughout Comcast's Bay
Area system on channel 630.
