Former Rep. J.C. Watts Jr. (R-Okla.) will join Cable News Network as a regular contributor.
Watts will provide analysis on politics and policy for programs throughout the network’s schedule, CNN said Wednesday.
Watts is currently chairman of J.C. Watts Cos., where he owns and operates several businesses and works with clients on business-growth and public-affairs strategies.
“J.C. is one of the most respected and effective conservative communicators in the nation’s capital,” CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein said in a prepared statement. “We are glad to welcome him to the CNN team and look forward to his insightful contributions to our network.”
