WE Heats Up With Specials

This summer, WE TV will premiere five original specials complementing its schedule of new seasons of Bridezillas, Secret Lives of Women and Platinum Weddings, officials said Wednesday.

The specials premiering this summer include: OMG! Sextuplets (June 18), Chain Gang Girls (June 24), Prince William: Sexy and Single (July 11), How to Marry a Prince (July 11) and F.L.I.P Mysteries: Women on the Case (August).

“These new specials delve into fascinating stories that are sure to satisfy women’s curiosity and are exciting additions to our original programming line up this summer,” WE TV general manager Kim Martin said in a statement. “Coming off our record-breaking success of our June 1 premiere of Bridezillas, we look forward to continuing to attract new viewers this summer with these provocative, unscripted accounts of real women’s lives.”

OMG! Sextupletstells the story of first-time parents Jennifer and Bryan Masche, who after struggling to have kids find out they are expecting six babies. The special follows them through the ups and downs of their journey—the high-risk pregnancy, birth of the sextuplets and the first few sleepless months of their children's lives—feeding, changing, and caring for their babies.

Chain Gang Girls follows a modern chain gang of female criminals documenting their every move together as they endure the sweltering desert heat and rigorous discipline to accomplish the most respected program in their women’s incarceration facility. It was filmed at the Maricopa County Prison in Phoenix, where these female prisoners elect to participate in a 30-day program consisting of labor intensive public service work at job sites outside the prison.

Prince William: Sexy and Single is an acquired documentary-style special that captures every aspect of Prince William’s love life—all the girls who’ve found themselves hitting the headlines, and a few he’s managed to keep more quiet.

How to Marry a Princeis narrated by I'm a Celebrity star Christopher Biggins, and examines what a common woman would have to go through to marry a prince and be accepted into the royal family.

F.L.I.P Mysteries: Women on the Casefollows a team of female licensed investigative professionals as they work to solve two cases: identifying the remains of a murder victim and finding her family, and catching a man threatening to molest a young girl.
