WE tv said it ordered a third, 12-episode season of original series L.A. Hair, which next year will join returning series Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas and a new scripted show, The Divide.
The AMC Networks outlet said L.A. Hair's audience grew by an average of 66% among women ages 25-54, by 40% among women ages 18-49 and 57% among both total viewers and total women, citing Nielsen live plus same day data.
The show is set in the hair salon owned by stylist Kim Kimble, whose clients include Michelle Williams, Faith Evans, Vivica Fox, Fantasia and Debbie Allen. L.A. Hair is produced for WE tv by Eyeworks USA, and executive produced by JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson and DJ Nurre.
