WEtv has greenlit new seasons of its reality seriesBraxton Family Values andSWV Reunited, the network announced Thursday.
Braxton Family Values (pictured), which follows the lives of the popular R&B music family, will launch its fourth season later this year with 26 episodes, according to network officials. The series averaged 1.4 million viewers in its most recent third season, said WE.
SWV Reunited, which chronicled the comeback of 1990s's R&B girl group SWV, averaged 1.2 million viewers over its initial six-episode freshman season run, said network officials. WE will produce 10 episodes for the show's sophomore season, said network officials.
“WE tv has become a true destination for quality unscripted originals on Thursday nights,” Lauren Gellert, senior vice president, original production & development, said in a release. “These shows have played a significant role in expanding our audience, reaching new viewers, attracting advertisers and building momentum for the network, and we’re excited to give our viewers exactly what they want by bringing them back for fresh new seasons.”
