Weather.com (www.weather.com) kicked off its eight-city “2005 Preview” at the iMedia Conference in Deer Valley, Utah, Monday.
The Weather Channel Interactive site’s presentation is designed to reach media buyers and planners in advance to help them secure the most effective advertising space on the site, Weather.com said.
Between Sept. 21-Oct. 27, the 2005 Preview will also hit Detroit, Boston, New York, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco and Chicago.
“For the first time, Weather.com is officially presenting an overview of our offerings to existing and potential clients to help them maximize their opportunities on one of the most effective advertising environments in the world," vice president of ad sales Peter Green said in a prepared statement.
"Our site features very specific content sections that allow them to reach targeted, highly engaged individuals who are more likely to be interested in their products or services,” he added.
