The Weather Channel Interactive's weather.com (www.weather.com) was the most popular source of online news and information in 2004, according to Nielsen//NetRatings.

TWC’s Web site also came in at No. 10 on the list of most popular content on the Web, TWCi added.

"We have never been prouder of the work that is taking place at The Weather Channel Interactive,” TWCi senior vice president and general manager Joe Fiveash said in a prepared statement.

“2004 was a fantastic year," he added. "It is a pleasure to start a new year on such a high note.
