The Web Marketing Association named The Weather Channel’s weather.com (www.weather.com) 2004’s "best general interest Web site."
“We are honored by this recognition from the Web Marketing Association," weather.com vice president of product management Tom Flournoy said in a prepared statement.
"Every day, we strive to deliver the best weather information to online consumers in a way that is intuitive and relevant,” he added. “Through the continuous growth of our user base and, now, this award from WMA, we are confident that we successfully provide a large amount of dynamic content in a way that is easy to use and understand."
The WMA was founded in 1997.
