Wins WMA Award


The Web Marketing Association named The Weather Channel’s ( 2004’s "best general interest Web site."

“We are honored by this recognition from the Web Marketing Association," vice president of product management Tom Flournoy said in a prepared statement.

"Every day, we strive to deliver the best weather information to online consumers in a way that is intuitive and relevant,” he added. “Through the continuous growth of our user base and, now, this award from WMA, we are confident that we successfully provide a large amount of dynamic content in a way that is easy to use and understand."

The WMA was founded in 1997.
