Wedding Central is adding new branded programming strands, with different nights dedicated to a different aspect of weddings, relationships and dating.
Last month, the Rainbow Media-owned network got things started with the announcement of "Royal Wedding Saturdays," dedicated to showcasing the drama and excitement of royal life and weddings. Now that treatment has been extended to the other six nights of the week.
"As the only network dedicated to all things bridal, Wedding Central is in a unique position to cater to viewers by bringing them nightly programming that focuses on particular aspects of weddings and relationships," Elizabeth Dorée, SVP of scheduling & acquisitions, WE tv and Wedding Central, said in a release. "Our destination nights are all part of a strategy of making Wedding Central even more fun and easy for viewers to watch."
Airing from 8-10 p.m., the nightly branded programming strands are:
Mondays: "Bride on a Budget Monday." With series such as Rich Bride Poor Bride, this night looks at the challenges of saving for a wedding no matter how large or small the budget.
Tuesdays: "Platinum Tuesday." From weddings on a budget to blinged-out affairs, Tuesday nights are all about the glitz and glamour of the world's most extravagant weddings, featuring series and specials like Super Secret Celebrity Wedding and Bling on the Bride.
