Playboy TV International announced several third-party programming-sales deals with broadcast stations and cable networks in Western Europe Wednesday.
• In Italy, satellite provider SKY Italia licensed 23 Playboy-branded movies, and its Max movie channel will air one per week.
• In southern France and Monaco, free-to-air station TMC renewed its commitment for an additional 40 hours of Playboy programming from 2004-05, including dramatic series such as Passion Cove and specials such as Sexy Girls Next Door.
• The Icelandic Broadcasting Corp. has purchased 20 acquired movies.
• And general-entertainment channel RTL Klub in Wallonia, French-speaking Belgium, will air Playboy series Women and Red Shoe Diaries.
