WGN Sets January Return for ‘Outsiders’

WGN will launch the second season of its hit original series Outsiders on Jan. 24, the network announced Tuesday.

The series, which follows the exploits of a family who will use any means necessary to defend their legacy of living atop a mountain for more than two hundred years, averaged 2.8 million viewers in Nielsen Live+7 ratings during its freshman run earlier this year.

The series stars David Morse (Treme, Hurt Locker) Thomas M. Wright (The Bridge, Top of the Lake), Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy, Bates Motel), Gillian Alexy (The Americans, Damages) and Kyle Gallner (American Sniper, Veronica Mars)
