Wheels in Motion for Auto Net

Automotive Networks LLC announced plans Thursday to launch Wheels TV, the
first national network focused exclusively on the world's love affair with
automobiles, motorcycles and trucks.

The Acton, Mass.-based company is targeting a fourth-quarter-2003 launch with
a lineup of original and acquired programming.

The lineup will include magazine and lifestyle programs; documentaries;
new-vehicle profiles; how-to shows; travel, safety and recall alerts; event
coverage; news; movies; and action and comedy series.

The channel is being developed in cooperation with Global Television Network
Ltd., which produces automotive programming for Discovery Channel, PBS, Speed
Channel, Fox and Outdoor Life Networks.

"We've been producing automotive programming for major networks and the auto
industry for 15 years," president Jim Barisano said in a release.

"This experience will be put to good use with Wheels TV," he added. "The
automobile plays a huge role in everybody's life, yet it is underserved in the
television world."

Shows currently in development include Ultimate Garage, World's
Fastest Wheels
, The Highway My Way and Hot
Streets
