Perhaps fittingly after its fourth season pick-up last week, HBO polygamy series Big Love continues to rise in the ratings.
After a slow start with its third-season debut on Jan. 11, Big Love marked its fourth consecutive week of increases with the premiere of its Feb. 8 premiere drawing 1.9 million watchers, according to Nielsen Media research data.
HBO officials say when encores, DVR viewing and HBO on-demand watching are included Big Love is cuming about 5 million viewers weekly this season.
For its part, Sunday night companion Flight of the Conchords is also on the uptick. The show scored a season high 660,000 viewers on Feb. 8. Factoring in the aforementioned elements, Conchords has averaged 3 million viewers this season.
