‘Wildfire’ Splits Fourth Season


ABC Family, which will split the campaign, is set to launch the fourth season of Wildfire next month.

Beginning Jan. 21 at 9 p.m., Wildfire ’s first eight episodes will air, before giving way to a mid-season break and the premiere of America’s Prom Queen. The new six-episode reality show is scheduled to begin March 17 at 9 p.m. and run Monday nights through April 21.

The last five installment of Wildfire, set in the world of horse racing as a young woman seeks to get a fresh start, begin April 28 and turn into May.

Wildfire will then return on Monday, April 28 with the remaining five episodes after the exciting season finale of America’s Prom Queen on April 21.

Through its first three seasons, Wildfire ranks as ABC Family's No. 2 original series in total viewers with a 1.6 million average for its premiere showings, behind only the 1.9 million for the first two seasons of Kyle XY.

Wildfire also ranks as the network’s second most-watched scripted show among adults 18 to 49 (569,000 of those watchers) and women 18 to 49 (422,000); its first with females 12 to 34 (539,000).
