WIN Expects Seattle Deal

Western Integrated Networks LLC expects to gain a franchise in Seattle.

A City Council committee recommended a 10-year deal, which would allow WIN to
be the third cable operator offering broadband services to 266,000 area homes.
The council will vote Monday (Feb. 12).

'Anything can happen, but we expect the ordinance to pass,' said Tony Perez,
director of the Seattle Cable Office.

Seattle would be WIN's seventh community, including its building permit in
Portland, Ore.
