Wink Lends Interactive Hand to ABC

ABC Sports and its sister
division, (, will be
using interactive applications supplied by OpenTV Corp. subsidiary Wink
Communications Inc. for the Rose Bowl, Nokia Sugar Bowl, FedEx Orange Bowl and
Tostitos Fiesta Bowl later this week.

TV viewers will be able to see
real-time stats, predict the outcome of each play and earn points for correct
choices. Viewers will also be able to display enhanced graphics, statistics and
trivia synchronous with the play-by-play and participate in various polls and
'live comment' sections.

As an incentive to participate,
users earn points for using various parts of the interactive applications. ABC
will hand out prizes based on those points, including a trip for two to 2004's
national championship game.
