Share prices for Wink Communications Inc. stock fell more than 11 percent Monday following a fourth-quarter-2001 earnings report released after the
market closed late Friday.
The company reported a net loss for the quarter of $72.99 million, compared
with $14.6 million in the same quarter in 2000. For the year 2001, Wink reported
a $114.5 million loss versus $33.3 million for 2000.
Wink also reported a 59 percent increase in revenues for the year, at $6.9
million in 2001.
