Blue River, Wis.-based Richland-Grant Telephone Cooperative is the latest telco to jump on the fiber-to-the-home bandwagon, announcing that it will deploy a network using gear from ADC.

Richland-Grant will install ADC’s OMniReach service-terminal and fiber-drop cables to provide IPTV and data services in the southwestern Wisconsin communities of Blue River, Boaz, Sabin, Soldiers Grove and Gays Mills. The project will be funded in part by the federal Rural Development Utilities Program.

Soldier’s Grove will be the first community to receive the services.
