Turner Network Television conjured up strong ratings with the premiere of its
new original series, Witchblade.

Produced by sister company Warner Bros. Television, Witchblade
recorded a 2.7 Nielsen Media Research household rating (2.19 million households)
June 12 from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., a 60 percent jump from TNT's year-to-date
primetime average.

The premiere was also a winner among adults 18 through 49 (1.61 million) and
25 through 54 (1.81 million), improving TNT's performance among those key demos
by 62 percent and 57 percent, respectively, when gauged against year-to-date
averages.

The launch of the series -- starring Yancy Butler as a New York detective
whose search for justice brings her into contact with the 'witchblade,' a
powerful, ancient living weapon -- was backed by an extensive multimedia
campaign and coincided with TNT's new repositioning campaign.

The network has unveiled a new logo and tag line, 'TNT: We Know
Drama.'
