World Fishing Network Catches Comcast Carriage In Michigan

WFN: World Fishing Network is now available to Comcast customers in Michigan.
The standard-definition version of the 24-hour fishing lifestyle network is positioned on channel 743, where it is available to the top cable operator's customers on its Sports Entertainment Package in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Flint.
The launches mark WFN's second rollout after Comcast rolled out the network in Florida. WFN scored a corporate carriage accord with the nation's largest distributor in September.

"In the heart of the Great Lakes, Michigan is one of the nation's top fishing areas and the demand for WFN there has been strong," said WFN president and CEO Mark Rubinstein in a statement. "We are thrilled to bring WFN to Comcast customers in Michigan, and look forward to bringing WFN to more Comcast customers soon."
