WOW Promotes Cochran To President

WideOpenWest has elevated Steven Cochran to president and chief financial officer.
In his new post, Cochran, who had been serving as CFO and COO since 2008, will continue to report to WOW CEO and chairwoman Colleen Abdoullah.
"Steven is an integral force behind our acquisition and operating strategies," said Abdoullah in announcing the promotion, "With his leadership, WOW has consistently delivered industry-leading financial performance and created significant value for our investors.

Cochran joined the Englewood, Colo.-headquartered overbuilder in 2002 as its CFO. He was promoted to COO in 2008, when he added responsibilities for human resources, field and call center operating strategies to his financial and accounting oversight.
WOW, which was purchased by Avista Capital Partners in 2007 for some $800 million, serves customers in the Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio and Evansville, Ind. markets
