The Women's United Soccer Association, the cable-owned women's league that
kicks off its second season April 13, has signed sponsorship deals with The
Coca-Cola Co. and McDonald's Corp.
The deals, terms of which were not disclosed, make the companies the official
soft drink and office food-service retailer, respectively, of the WUSA.
Both are entitled to various marketing and promotional rights, including use
of WUSA and team logos, commercials on Pax TV's national broadcasts and field
