Two veteran cable-programming executives will play key roles with new service
ventures.

Robert Wussler, former Turner Broadcasting System Inc. senior vice president
and CBS Television Network president, joined The Ice Channel as vice
chairman.

Ice is the figure-skating network organized by ex-CBS Sports programmer Jay
Rosenstein and former figure-skating agent Michael Rosenberg, out to take the
ice this winter.

Separately, former Sci Fi Channel and USA Network senior programmer Ian
Valentine stepped up to Brands Shopping Network Inc. as chairman and CEO.

Valentine takes over for Tom Oliver, who resigned May 4 to relaunch a media
consultancy in Los Angeles.

Brands anticipates launching its service -- where brand-name retailers sell
merchandise through lifestyle programming -- later this year or in
2004.
