‘WWE Payback’ PPV Event Pins Down Social Media Hits

The WWE’s Sunday night pay-per-view event WWE Payback was the most talked about entertainment show on social media yesterday, according to Nielsen.

The event drew 518,000 Facebook and Twitter interactions from 187,000 unique users to top all April 30 shows, according to Nielsen’s Social Content ratings chart.

Bravo’s The Real Housewives Of Atlanta was second with 228,000 social media interactions, followed by Starz’s premiere of American Gods, ABC’s Once Upon A Time and National Geographic’s special LA 92, said network officials.

ABC’s telecast of game seven of the Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Clippers NBA Playoffs series was the most social live sports event for the day, drawing 883,000 interactions, according to Nielsen.
