WWE Restructures Executive Ranks With Eye Toward Building Brand

The WWE has upped three veteran executives to new positions as the company positions itself for long-term growth across several business segments.

Chief Marketing Officer Michelle Wilson has been promoted to chief revenue and marketing officer, overseeing the company’s revenue lines including sponsorship sales, pay-per-view and new business development. Wilson will also spearhead the company’s efforts to launch a WWE Network, according to WWE officials.

George Barrios, formerly the WWE’s chief financial officer, will now take on the title of chief strategy and financial officer, which will give him oversight of the WWE’s day-to-day Television Operations.

Barrios will also tag team with Wilson to negotiate the WWE’s future television rights, according to the WWE.

Stephanie McMahon, formerly executive vice president of creative has been promoted to Chief Brand Officer and will lead WWE’s efforts to further enhance the WWE brand with advertisers, media, business partners and investors. McMahon will also lead WWE’s targeted youth and moms marketing programs.

All three executives will report to WWE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon.

In addition, Kevin Dunn will serve as Executive Producer of all WWE programming, including Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Main Event and Total Divas and will continue to report to Vince McMahon. Also, Perkins Miller, Executive Vice President, Digital Media will report to McMahon, while Eddie Feldmann, Senior Vice President, Creative Writing will report to Paul Levesque, Executive Vice President, Talent and Live Events.
