Major League Baseball is offering baseball fans a chance to watch online for free a Major League Baseball game everyday during the regular season as part of a streaming agreement with Yahoo.
The streaming service, which streamed several live MLB games last year, will stream a total of 180 games during the league's reglualr season that will feature at least one appearance by each of the league's 30 teams, according to Yahoo. Free access to the games will be blacked out in local markets.
The deal is Yahoo's second live game streaming deal with a pro sports league following its March announcement that it will stream up to four live National Hockey League games a week through the rest of the season. The company last October also streamed a live National Football League telecast.
The announcement also comes as the NFL and Twitter Tuesday reached a deal for the social media company to stream 10 live Thursday Night Football regular season telecasts during the upcoming season.
