Continuing to add programming to its allotment of New York Yankees Major
League Baseball games, Yankees Entertainment & Sports Network said Wednesday
that it would telecast New Jersey Gladiators Arena Football League games.

The agreement calls for YES to telecast seven Gladiators home games in
2002.

Along with Gladiators games, YES will telecast 130 Yankees games, as well as
a live simulcast of New York sports-radio station WFAN's afternoon show
featuring radio DJs Mike Francesa and Chris (Mad Dog) Russo.

'The action-packed, fan-friendly atmosphere of the Arena Football League will
provide an attractive television product for our viewers,' YES chairman and CEO
Leo J. Hindery Jr. said in a prepared statement.

The deal comes on the heels of a reported distribution agreement between YES
and cable overbuilder RCN Corp., although YES executives would not confirm the
deal.

The network announced a distribution deal last week with direct-broadcast
satellite company DirecTV Inc.
