The YES Network, on what figures to be an emotional and busy day for Mariano Rivera, will have things covered for fans of the legendary relief pitcher.

Rivera, Major League Baseball’s all-time saves leader, is expected to announce on Saturday March 9 that he will retire from the game after the 2013 season. YES will cover the press conference from Steinbrenner Field in Tampa at 10 a.m. (ET). In addition to hearing remarks from baseball’s pre-eminent closer, members of Rivera’s family, Yankees players and management will be interviewed after the announcement.

Then at 1 p.m., the regional sports network home to the Bronx Bombers will cover their spring training contest against the Atlanta Braves in which Rivera will make his first game appearance since April 30, 2012. Several days later he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee while shagging flies before a matchup against the Kansas City Royals.

ESPN and MLB Network will also cover Rivera's press conference.
